1st Question:
I'm serious in playing with forex but i can only afford USD50. Which company is the best?

2nd Question:
I have read some of the company charging interest rates if you are holding the currency longer than a day. Is that true? If it is, is it compounded everyday or a one time interest charge.

3rd Question:
Let's say if i buy with the spread of 2 pips and sold it for 3 pips, are they going to charge me a total of 5pips, 2pips or 3pips?

Thanks for the advice. I can only afford to invest that much for the moment. As time goes, I'll increase my investment. But, I'm still confuse with your answer for the third question.

Isn't that spread is the charge made by the broker to you?

Let's say Im talking about OANDA. Can anyone answer my question 2?

That means spread is the amount i need to pay for each trade. But, still nobody answers my third question. I did made an example there. Ok. I'll write it again here.

I bought 2 lots when the spread is 2pips and I sold that lot when the spread is at 3 pips(assuming the spread is not constant). So, how much spread am I paying to the broker?

SO, the conclusion is I'm ONLY paying the spread the moment i made a 'buy' in the market. How it's going to be calculated for 1000 units? They will charge the spread for each unit? That would mean a total of 2000 pips I need to pay the broker when I start trading in the market.(if the spread is 2pips)
Am I correct?

Oh really? Thanks. I'll try it our once I finish reading up babypips. So, the ONLY difference with the demo and the real account is the MONEY. Am I right? The rest of it, including the charges, interest and 'hidden cost' is the same with the real account. Am I right?

Hey guys, i'm noob here.. just wondering how long should i do demo/paper trade before i start using real money? 2 months? 1 month?
i'm really anxious to jump in and trade but then i read somewhere also that its important to have patience when trading.. or else lose money...

oh, on another note, my friend mentioned something about using a software to do the trading for you. anyone heard of that? is that any good?

i did not say confirm 100% profit monthly but it is possible by trading 4-5 pairs... targeting 100 total pips per day...

the method is so simple yet nobody might have not used it...

I have a system too, it cost me RM100(not very expensive), now testing, so far so good, I target only one pair, trade only 1 lot standard account(fxcm demo account) coz I wanna see the consistentcy for the indicator. hehe...too many indicator system out there....

example:

Limit: 15pips
Stop: 20 pips

trailing:10pips

with this, I don need stay in front pc all the time. BUT, I have some experience that the pip drop > 20 and after that raise > 20 pips....

FYI, timeframe that I used is 30mins.
