Seriously i have spent tons of money shopping with lazada i never got any major problem.
Here some tips
For purchase below RM1500 do it on weekend use the Fire codes in the phone app ie.FIRE250Aick etc. You will get discount almost 17%, tricky part is the code apply to purchase of 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 so have to smartly add the cheapest items that you dont need to make up those limit. Say you're buying a camera price RM1499. you need to quickly find cheap item like RM1 or RM2 to add to that amount. and the codes are limited to like 1000-2000 buyers only.
For purchase above RM1500 do it when they have storewide discount like today 12% because the weekend codes limit to RM1500 only
For any other day just window shopping and add item you'd like to buy in your wishlist. or you can buy clearance items if the discount is 20% but this will only end up buying items that you dont really want / need / not on your list

another one, do check the same product at rakuten
occasionally during promotion, it's cheaper there
but most of the time lazada better
