Give a varied diet. Mix some grains like nuts, oats, the usual hamster food along with the dogfood.

Almost all dogfood have salt but the low quality dogfood has more and also artificial flavourings. You can always buy Blackwood or royal Canin, even Nutriedge as they come in small packs like 1kg. The protein level is good enough.

Mealworms and crickets can be fed as well, but they need only a little coz mealworms are very high in fat and phosphorus. It is not really natural for them if you only feed mealworms and superworms. You gotta give animal meat protein.

If Mid Valley then the top floor got Pets Wonderland pet shop. There got fancy mice, satin and normal but its pricey. It's around RM6 onwards. If go petaling street or get from supplier is cheaper. Around RM3 onwards or some even sell it for less if get in huge bulk.
