Fellaini real role is to draw defender and making space for other players. When he is the target man, at least 2 defender is marking him. So that make way for other players to score.

Depay was marked tightly since his debut because opponent knows that he can be a threat. That is why it is hard for him to shine. With Martial, he is almost an unknown to the opponent, hence less tight marking. They allow him to have space and he punished them for it.
Still a very nice goal from Martial  . There potential is huge with this one. |

Its been a long time since I've watched the team looks dangerous during fast counter attack. Although no goal from it tonight but it looks like the team is getting better at it. And finally, more supplies for the strikers and forward players. Hopefully this will improve more as the season move forward.
