QUOTE(customguitar @ May 14 2008, 06:15 PM) well there is not much skaters can cari makan in malaysia , but we can still se some full time skater , like usher and fuad , u have to be super duper good in skateboarding to make it your career , anyway that is just my opinion... Skateboarding can be a career if there is a company willing to sponsor you |

QUOTE(zXJaMeSXz @ May 20 2008, 02:00 PM) well, all i can say is most skaters will be happy with wheels from 52mm to 54mm, with a hardness of 99a (higher number means harder). But, if you want to give it a little more thought, then first ask yourself what kind of skateboarding you think you'll be doing.Transition / Vert Larger skateboard wheels roll a lot faster, and when riding ramps this is what you want. Try 55-65mm size wheels (though many ramp skateboarders will use even larger wheels -- try something like a 60mm wheel first, as you learn), with a hardness of 95-100a. Street / Technical Skateboarders who like doing flip tricks often like smaller wheels, as they are lighter and closer to the ground, making some skateboarding tricks easier and faster. Try 50-55mm skateboard wheels, with a hardness of 97-101a. Both / All Terrain You'll want something in the middle, with slightly softer skateboard wheels. Try a wheel size 52-60mm, with 95-100a hardness. This should give you a balance between speed and weight. Cruising Usually cruising wheels are much larger for speed (64-75mm) and much softer for riding over rough terrain (78-85a). Other wheels for cruising are available, such as huge dirt wheels with knobs, but these aren't recommended for skateboards be careful when choosing your wheels.. happy choosing.. (some one please tell me if i'm wrong) This post has been edited by s3polZ: May 20 2008, 05:00 PM |

QUOTE(xpapanburukx @ May 25 2008, 02:32 AM) Added on May 25, 2008, 2:37 amif in KL..i've only found the best wheels here is BONES (only available in Crazeecausa shop)....others maybe Ricta..but BONES still the best...mine was thru online coz Crazee don't have the other formula that i need and yet they only have the small ize wheels. Mine was 56mm..have been using it for 3 years...slide downhill sometimes and here and there...no FLAT SPOT found...yes ..NO FLAT SPOT....and i;m using BONES SPF....Crazeecause selling the STF formula... but mine is using ATF formula.. i've used many sk8 wheels before and i think BONES is the best wheels ![]() This post has been edited by s3polZ: May 26 2008, 09:02 AM |

i'm using 54mm wheels..
that is last year price la, kawan.. i dunno how much is the latest price i think the price become high here because of the shipping cost and KASTAM charge a bit.. even though it is just a wheel, it is still imported item |

yeah..i know that..
i've seen the wheel's price at sk8shop at Ipoh (i stayed there that time).. surprisingly the price are higher.. so my cousin said he will try to find it at UK (United Kingdom, not Ulu Kelang) back then.. and when he come back here, he told me to give him RM 40 for a set of BONES wheels This post has been edited by s3polZ: May 28 2008, 10:21 AM |
