hi, recently i bought 7 males and 6 females.. only two days the female start giving birth.. now i manage to get 7 babies out from the tank and put aside in a small tank.

Any sempai out there know why my guppies after give birth, some of the adult(male and female) are feeding/eating on the babies? Any idea how to solve this?

I don't have any weed but got two small plastic plants with two small rock. Can i put lots of bigger rock? Put together to create hiding place.. Do you separate the fries from the main tank or their parents?

If my eyes don't fail me, the mother fish ate her own babies huh!?

Hope sempai here can help~!! Recently, two of my female guppy and one female patty die suddenly.(all this death fish is pregnant with very biggg tummy.. ) I suspect the death caused by difficulty on giving birth.. is it possible???

Check the tank for possible other death fish and find out two very tinny babies patty.(cos same color with mama fish and the other fish are all very healthy and swim happily.. )

Can someone please give me some idea what happen??

Then it is due to water temperature and water ph? What temperature and ph that's suitable for them?
