hello! last month i forgot to pay my statement balance on time >.<

due date was on 12 nov, but payment only went through on 13 Nov. i paid my statement balance, so got some outstanding balance (not due yet). So wanna ask if late payment charges and finance charges will incur? Based on T&C it should be, but how does it start calculating? I check my unbilled statement, but so far no sign on these charges yet. And does it affect the 20days interest free period for the next statement cycle?

Anyone can explain to me?

First time forgot to pay on time >.< have to set reminder earlier d. Sigh.

Thanks ya~

payment 1-2 days after due date is still ok. no late payment penalty.

wont affect their next 20day interest free period too.

ah okok thanks yeah~

As per ABM guidelines, all banks will not charge late payment fee if payment (>minimum) is received within 3 days after due date. However, the guideline does not cover finance charges but so far in my experience, MBB does not charge finance charges within this period but other banks do charge the few days of finance charges.

my payment was OCBC cc, kept thinking got instant payment from m2u, mana tau it's the normal IBG~ okla few days of finance charges i accept la~ my fault in the first place

Did you select correctly?

As per experience, if you perform IIFT, the fund is actually already available at your CC account. Just that it's not posted.

You can see that your CL has been increased after the transfer.

pretty sure there is no option of IIFT, just normal IBG, cuz m2u charge me rm0.11 for the service lagi hahahaha

OK, yours is IBG. That makes sense now. IBG doesn't work in weekends. LOL

There's a cut-off time to adhere and posting time by the recipient bank.
*
lol wasn't weekend, weekday leh, but anyway next time I set earlier reminder

I feel you bro. I'm always afraid of late payment which will cause bad credit record and extra financial charge.
So I set reminder for each of my credit cards a week before due dates.

Call me dumb/paranoid or anything but sometimes I even prepaid all of my credit cards before started spending each month (Statement comes with negative value) hahaha
No harm what since I use credit cards for the convenience and cashback, not gonna drag my pay anyway.
*
yeah i understand, i now set a few days earlier, to do prepaid is like a bit too over d LOL

walao, your statement very confusing.  blink.gif

u posted in m2card topic, i thought u r paying mbb cards, NOT transferring out from m2u. now, you're saying you're paying ocbc card from m2u  biggrin.gif

and yes, no ibft to OCBC. I've tried OCBC CASA and Loan accounts, only IBG available.
*
sorry man! didn't mention it clearly earlier wink.gif paying mbb cards is not a prob, always instant tongue.gif
but thanks yeah!
