QUOTE(koinibler @ Aug 31 2015, 06:47 PM) can you just say dont want replacement unless its free. may just cancel or temporary cancel the card till it be found. I didn't know about the replacement fees until I saw on the cards transaction, the CS never informed me about it when I asked for replacement. many would cancel it anyway. CIMB only charge RM10 and can be waive too |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 1 2015, 09:53 AM) if you have no use of the cards or out epp/bt tied to the cards, should have just canceled it hor I made my report yesterday night, will try appeal for RM100. Convert the points and cancel it nevertheless, try to get police report to waive the RM100 charge. just need to spend a little time n effort to file the report. good luck! |

QUOTE(akira de aimbuster @ Nov 6 2015, 04:01 PM) I never expect the currency exchange rate to be so high using Maybank VISA. I saw that VISA was having a promotion in Japan and giving 6% discount, so I chose to use VISA instead of cash. It turned out their currency rate is nearly 30% higher than normal money changer rate. Have you check with Maybank CS?Oh gosh, I lost about rm1k for this mistake. I checked VISA website and their rate was normal too, ie similar to nornal money changer. So my guest is, maybank charged additional % into it while converting the currency. This is too much, I was expecting 10% difference at most. Sigh. |

QUOTE(audy @ Jan 13 2016, 03:16 PM) I noticed that in my card statement under Treatpoints section, it is written "MAYBANKARD 2 AMEX 4X"....how come I am getting 4x points instead of 5x? Or is this 4x referring to something else?? ![]() 1. Combine TreatPoints x1 for your MasterCard/Visa card and AMEX card 2. TreatPoints x4 for your AMEX card |
