sms alert for your first transaction is surely for most banks. you will need to set your minimum amount to trigger sms alert. you may put as low as rm1 if you want all transaction to trigger sms alert.

Oic... how to set? Need call up?

Only prompt repayment of 12 months will be charged 8.88% per annum. Less than that is either 17%/18%.

If want to pay minimum, might as well cancel your cards and just settle all debts before you dig the hole deeper.

lol. To be honest, I hardly use Amex nowadays. My spendings are usually petrol, telco, utilities, groceries, dining and insurance. Most of it are covered by other cards. Only use Amex in departmental store where I dont have any card that cover this category.

i terbalik with u , i use amex for petrol haha for the x5 TP

5X TP is only worth 1.25% cashback.
Don't want to consider other cards that offers petrol cashback at 5%?

So you prefer to have points worth RM12.50 or RM50 in cash?

Bear in mind the points won't actually get you RM12.50 as the price of things you can buy with the points normally higher a bit.

First time I hear people prefer points than cash. Unless you feel happy at the thousands and tens of thousands number la...

i getting average 8 - 10k points monthly . mayb cox of this i prefer points rclxm9.gif

Every month almost 2k spending, have you heard of AEON Watami?

Or you can combine a few cashback cards (depending what you spend on). Example Public Bank Visa Signature for dining/online, WISE for utility bills...

No matter what, points are worth less than cashback, so unless your spending is so high as to max out every cashback, I don't see a purpose to going for points INSTEAD OF cashback. Unless you feel the 8k or 10k number feels better than RM80 or RM100 la...

Currently holding MBB2 , HSBC Amanah and RHB TM .... Aeon watami kena rejected before dont know why

Hmm yes of cox cash is better thn points but i am a person who use liao thn forget it just pay .. dont pay more thn i have purchase can liao haha rclxm9.gif

So far the ONLY benefit that I have experience is that the Maybank platinum credit card gives me free parking at the Platinum Parking at One Utama during certain festive season (last year was Christmas, this year was CNY). Hence dont need to look for parking if I am lucky enough to get a parking at that area. I can also spend long time at the mall because the parking is free. smile.gif

cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif why GOLD no this benefit ..... lucky TP is the same rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif
