threadstarter, u post i the wrong section, it should be in technical support forum but anyway let the mod to do the job.

back to the topic, have u try to reinstall ur sound driver? it seems to me that it is a driver issue.
*
when i wanna post this topic, i also confuse whether want to post in int section or technical support, but since this section is discussing more on the software, and the problem might me with the software, that why i decided to post it here..

ok, i've already try to reinstall the sound driver twice i think, but the problem seem not unsolved, i've also try to find in the internet about the 'soundmix.dll' but hopeless..
anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

1 question but no offence as this will help me to clean ur system? r u a malay or chinese? if u r a malay, did u ever go to any chinese website coz i found some chinese related entries in ur pc.

that another problem, everytime i used my IE, there will be some chinese website always come out..
and when i check back my add/remove program,
i always found some of software that i never install..
just now, i just uninstall 4software with the chinese character.
i also restrict the site in the IE setting.. bcuz its to annoying me
for ur info, im malay.

QUOTE
b4hand, can u check these items for me?
C:\WINDOWS\system32\SCIntruder.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\alsmt.exe

put ur mouse to these 2 files and see if u recognize the two files or not like the company name. report back to me.

no company info there...

QUOTE
go to C:\Program Files\ and find CNNIC. is this folder familiar with u? if not, delete it.

next, on the address bar, copy the following and press enter:
C:\PROGRA~1\MMSASS~1\ does this folder or any of its file familiar to u? meaning that did u install that particular program? if not, delete it.

both cannot be delete... write protected..
i also tried to uncheck 'write-only' in the properties, but still the same.

off topic:
about the startup Windows, i can't really help u right now as i will be buzy for a couple of weeks. i'm only free starting from December onwards. pm me after December and i will guide u on how to optimize ur pc to startup faster.

on topic:
the hijackthis log that u post seems to be clean. maybe i missed up something. right now what u can do is open a new thread in Technical Support and link to this thread. ask sUBs, Technical Support moderator to look at this thread. i'm not dare to give any solution right now as i'm afraid i will be messing up with ur pc if i ask u to delete any critical files needed for Windows to run. sUBs might be able to help u out and remember to point him to this thread.

btw, next time, pls post ur hijackthis log in normal mode, not in code format as it would be easier for ppl to diagnosis ur pc.

anyway, thank bro
