i think you need to change that file extension
like bitcomet using .bc! for incomplete file
utorrent use .ut! and FlashGet (non-p2p) use .jc!
you try change it to the TuoTu incomplete file extension
and then hash check to try again...
*
it doesnt have its' own extension.
QUOTE(dragna @ Nov 19 2006, 08:59 AM)
Where is the upload ratio settings?
*
there is no such setting, go to BT section, you can only choose to seed for how many hour after finished dl, default only 1 hr.

if it doesn't have own extension
then it try to del the .ut! extension and try la
*
yes, that is the way to go.

no cpu spike here, constant cpu usage from 3-6%, never go over 10%. dont dl too many at a time.

if before I use BC to download file till certain %, now I wanna move to Tuotu, what should I do in order to continue download the file?
*
copy them to Tuotu dl folder, if they have unfinished file extension like .!bt, remove the extension, then start the torrent in TT, if it can hash then you will resume the dl, if cannot hash, sayonara.

I must say this is impressive but then it kills my ability to surf the net. As well as MSN too. Anyway I've change the half open connections from 25 to 10 and see how it is.
*

Was at 20. Then I set it to 15 still the same. Anyway I changed the half open connections to 10 now and it seems to work. No more disconnections from MSN and still surf better.
*
see the tip by maradona:
set it to auto is much better, now more responsive.
QUOTE(diego_maradona @ Nov 19 2006, 11:42 AM)
i set my half open connections as auto ,surfing net is smooth

why my speed is not stable?? around 40kbps-60kbps
*
Please be informed that, your connection speed is based upon the connection speed given by the other side. For example, when downloading files directly off the internet (http downloads) the upload speed from the hosting website will effect your download speed. If they can only upload 1 Kb every one minute, no matter how fast your speed is, you will only get 1 Kb every one minute. This same concept applies to Bittorrent and other filesharing programs

(answer given by tmnet, seems appropriate here)

if i set the seeding hours to 0 then izzit 0 means unlimited???

thx in advanced... notworthy.gif

0 means zero, just key in 99999999, then click ok, it will go to the max value.
QUOTE(wilson88 @ Nov 19 2006, 05:34 PM)
sad... it is not working for me .. Haiz sad.gif

still downloading at 0.1kbps
*
u need to port forward.

this client is using UDP, tmnet only throttle TCP, thats why we all get full speed.

unsure.gif I am using a direct connection. With that my UDP and TCP doesn't need to be port forwarded.
*
so you dont use a router? using bridge mode or usb modem right?
should get full speed what.

BitComet use both TCP and UDP (use UDP when in NAT Tranversal)......
can explain why BitComet get throttle
but TuoTu not??
*
my guess is they block bitcomet the program itself, a specific rule or configuration or something, thats the reason why bitcomet is completely dead for me, while utorrent still manage to crawl at 10Kb/s.
QUOTE(Neslo[#^PenG^#] @ Nov 19 2006, 10:31 PM)
wat bout the max half open connection ? wat if i put something other than 25?
will the speed be higher if i put a higher number ?
*
just set it to auto. higher no.=/ higher speed.

Mine doesn't work anymore.

My speed is 0KB/s now.

The speed 100 KB/s 2 days ago, yesterday 20 Kb/s and now 0 KB/s.

Anyone here can solve this problem?

I've repeated UNDERGROUND's instructions exactly but it doesn't work anymore

I'm back on uTorrent and i'm able to get 70KB/s now.. not sure whats the cause though.. yes, i'm connected to international peers.
*
tmnet undo the throttling after the recent upgrade, this could be only explanation.
