Hello there

was wondering, how difficult to find food stall/restaurant that serves seafood only (or halal mid-east foodz) in south korea?
i'm considering korea as my next destination and i'll be backpacking solo..
*been to japan solo twice

err, i never been to korea
but if you want to know how i survive Japan,
i use hostelworld to find and book accomodations.. get their touch n go card, travel using trains n on foot.. if possible, get few day unlimited public transport passes..
as for food, i go for seafood since im muslim..
Locate all Mosque/surau locations. usually if theres Surau nearby, high chances theres halal groceries/food stall as well..

but these might not be the case in Korea ..

as for Korea, i havent prepare any itinerary yet

not sure if we should discuss JP in KR thread

anyway, went JP twice
trip1: Tokyo(kanto), 9days, solo, budget hotel+ryokan+capsule, total spending including flight=rm6k
trip2: Tokyo-Yokohama-Nara-Kyoto-Kobe-Osaka-Nagoya, 10days, solo, budget hotel, total spending minus shopping=rm6k.


not sure if i can get similar trip for rm6k in KR.
i can move about in JP b'coz i watch jdrama/anime, so i can get the idea what theyre talking (like 5% out of everything LOL).
KR would be total different world as i dont watch k-drama
