Anything interesting there? Anyway, I went to another Gangnam neighbourhood i.e near Seoulleong station, 1 or 2 statoopns after Gangnam to visit the Royal Tomb..& thereafter a short walk to COEX mall. The whole area looks modern & very new wth all nicely designed short skyscrappers (Probably <30 storeys high)
The Seonjeong Royal Tom looks nice from far. It was closed on Monday (Sigh) so I took the tomb picture from far: http://wikimapia.org/#lat=37.508245&lon=12...22&z=16&l=0&m=b ![]() ![]() QUOTE(megatron007 @ Jan 1 2011, 06:35 PM) |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jan 1 2011, 06:30 PM) It depends what you want to work as there. TOPIK? what if for example i graduated in msia with a degree then go korea look for job need sit for the TOPIK cert to get job? or is it just a plus in yr resume?Because there are so many types of jobs, it is hard to say. But first and foremost, for the average person... you first need a certified TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) test first of atleast Beginner in most jobs. Again, it does depend on what job you wanna do. Having a TOPIK cert will help you alot. But we might be going off topic here though in going into jobs since this is a travelling thread... XD |

QUOTE(megatron007 @ Jan 1 2011, 06:35 PM) I live in Gangnam... not that I'm rich that is.Honestly Gangnam has nothing much to see... mostly all posh places, expensive stuff every where. If you just want to see nice cars and rich people, just pop by and look see. Nothing to shop unless you got the moolah, which you basically can still get in KL anyways. Emm for privacy purposes I obviously can' reveal where celebs stay. What I can tell you is that not ALL stays in Gangnam. It also depends on the parent company's HQ residing at which area. A bonus plus is if you can learn more about their culture, the better your chances are. Hi,
I;m trying to fit the Hwacheon Sancheoneo (Mountain Trout) Ice Festival into my itinerary. Should I put it the same day as Nami Island? Half day for Nami island, half day for Hwacheon Sancheoneo ? Is it enough? Nami Island just sightseeing right? |
