Excluding airtickets & hotels which we bought in advance, i only brought in RM2100 and yet managed to get bck RM600+ So actual spending only RM1500 for 6D4N and that amt was for 3 persons and not one haha..

I also visited Nami island & nearby gangchon ski resort.

Im not sure bout that but better be careful when ur eating at road side stalls...be sure to check the price 1st.
We were hungry on the night we reached and went to eat at the roadside stall (the type which looks like a tent and selling many types of seafood, normally managed by an aunty)...we ordered 2 bowls of 'shin' instant noodles and 2 plates of mushroom...it cost us 30,000won!! rclxub.gif

Waiting for my flight at 10 something, went to everland yesterday,I can say its huge cos got diff diff. Section walk till my leg also pain, but when I went it was snowing heavily so all the rides closed, spend 4 hours there but only manage to sit 1 ride and 3 shows. But the scenery is really nice.
*
Oh... I didnt know the rides will be closed if snowing...

Anyway, tried T-express?

When I went to Korea 2 years ago, was wishing that it would snow but didnt... honestly its not the snow that we really want, its the coldness which is very syiok...

I wish to backpack to Korea but my wife aint a fan of backpacking... haiiihhh

Seoul City bus tour. One day can cover most of the attractions in Seoul provided you limit each attractions to 1/2 hrs haha
*
Haha. You like a Seoul Travel Master sir, can you help me list out where/what worth seeing in 48hrs?

I don't want to rush but I need to fully utilize my time there.

Thanks in advance. smile.gif

RM1500 for 3 persons? Meaning each person only RM500? Can share with me the places you went to? My friends and I are going early March 2011 for 6 days.We are still looking for the best places to go to within that short period.

OK found my earlier post on cost breakdown:

QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 17 2010, 08:15 AM)
OK since you're on budget similar to most of ppl here..My recent trip of 6D4N can be used as guideline. I EXCLUDE hotels & air ticket bcos already paid in advance. You can prebook hotels using the link on 1st page (innotel, hostelworld or agoda)

Wth the AAX tickets & hotel excluded, I changed ~RM2170 cash into Won (well to USD 1st thereafter won). Yesterday, I changed back the whole US$218 available and got back RM680  rclxms.gif So total spending only ~RM1500  rclxm9.gif AND this was for 3 persons!!  smile.gif  (Avg exchange rate at 2.85)

Rough idea of how I spent my RM1300 there (for 3 pax)"

- T-Money 33,000w X3 but got back 3600w X3 at the end of the day. (~RM260)
- Daily food for 3 X3 (Brunch & dinner - some meal simple convenience shop kimbap & drinks  blush.gif ) ~ 12,000w X2 X3 X 4 nites (~RM820)
- Souvenir, entrance tickets, Taxi & etc  ~180,000won (RM520)

everland's rides are not bad..very special and different from other theme parks. u should try if you like thrilling rides.

and you should stay until 7.30pm for the fireworks. it's very pretty now with the xmas decoration.

aiya 730 got fireworks? dint know i left at about 530 like that. but at night was really beautiful with the xmas decoration and it is so huge. T-express wasnt open,me and my friend was running everywhere trying to find t-express.
if u go to everland u will realize every staff there that incharge of each ride will surely have a smile in their face and wave their hand like what u see when someone won the miss universe.from what i heard from my tour guide,he said their mthly salary is about rm4k++ just operating the rides. but he say its not alot cos korea living cost is high, then somehow it wont be much left after all the groceries.

Yeah... especially T-Express ride... after all of them get on, they will wave to everyone until the whole train has passed.

T-Express is easiest to find leh... can see from very far and already AWE when see the height... the first drop is amazing...

It is in a building unlike most of the rides you can see the line next to the ride. So so-happens if there's not such long queue, you might actually missed that building. wink.gif

later post some pics up,but dint take much pic cos too cold edi my stupid leather glove from UT useless,so put my hand inside the pocket most of the time. i rmb i went to peak island, they have indoor water theme park, the best thing is they have outdoor hotspring so have to run out in the cold weather to get inside diff tub with diff flavor of water so basically your whole body is inside the hot water but your head is out in the cold. that time snowing somemore so quite an experience.
