vista hog the system. It uses a lot of resources.  When vista came out, the hardware that was current then was not quite ready for it.  If I were you I'd get meself a new laptop.  Just make sure that you get original OS bundled with it. Win 8.1 is not so bad.  Dont upgrade to win 10 yet.  Win 10 will not let you run a lot of grey software that you may want to use and it also hogs the system.

Just upgrade to Windows 7, that would be appropriate for your laptop. How much RAM do you have? Try upgrading that too. Another problem could be your HDD, could be going dead, run HDD diagnostic and see if any problem there.

He got no idea how many RAM he have in the PC. I think 2GB only.. lol. Because is a 6 years old Lappy. sweat.gif

Gonna check on the HDD. Any program recommend to check HDD?

Note: 3GB. Just checked his laptop.

Update: Copying out drama series or any other file will have Error 0x8007045D. I even went to safe mode and try, still the same problem.

Use another port now, but seem like the error persist.

chkdsk and cluster sector is for checking hdd itself.. but not the driver  sweat.gif  driver error/port error usually gives that error as stated by you. that is memory address for i/o port.
*
Oh i see. I have checked 2 different ports and returned with same error. Seem like is Driver error. Thank you for telling me. smile.gif
