Since you know then banking industry well, perhaps can enlighten some of the following?
1.) For the same position, what's remuneration package of HLB compare to other banks? Found this in the lowyat too, not sure about the position, and it is outdated I suppose. Mind to update it for us?

Its been a while.
I was at SEH last weekend to sign the Land Title transfer - just got back in town after overseas secondment.
Addressing the questions above:
1) The position is for HLBB branch manager - it is a norm that BMs are paid a certain basic and thereafter commission on branch sales. Sales are divided into few categories - Loan Products, Credit Card, Bancassurance and of course products that are tougher to sell has higher commission; i.e.: Bancassurance. However, to become a BM, you are expected to have done both sales and operations at a Branch. In most cases, under internal transfer the BM will be transferred from a certain branch (could be either performing or non-performing) to make way for a new BM at the existing branch as well as to fill up the new branch. It is very subjective as these things are controlled by the Area Manager, and the BM has to be willing to take up the job. For external hire, the prospective BM will be expected to come with market knowledge of the area and demonstrate capabilities to turn the branch into a profit centre. At minimum, am looking at a Basic Pay of RM4-5K and the rest will be commission. A prosperous branch can fetch its BM a monthly income of RM10-15K due to the sales commission.
2) Remuneration for branches in Semenyih and KL in terms of basic pay and benefits will not differ but of course the commission income will differ given the traffic and clientele in KL vs Semenyih. Semenyih being a mixed community with many thriving SMEs which bodes well with HLBB and PBB business model, it is not surprising that HLBB wants a bigger presence and I am optimistic that the remuneration can be up to RM8-10K a month including commissions. The BM will be equipped with at least 6-8 years of experience and will have adequate sales records and strong contacts for approvals and referrals.
BM is a sales function but it comes with managing branch and its staff. The branch do well, the BM does well.
Average starting pay of all fresh graduates with a local banking institution as at 2015 stands at RM2600-2800. Branch staffs average pay starts at RM1200. But, this is not applicable for BM (they have prior working experience and would have larger salary base due to number of years in employment).
My 2 cents.
Have a good day all.
