think solo can win also. have to be sacrificial bro. eg. my team got enough carry and 1 support. so I just semi-support to further assist my team to control map. deward, deny, pull creep.

due to pinoy teams, my solo mmr dropped bellow 3k...haiz....no more hope to get up

tbh,i think solo reflects better...
cos if party ,most probably ur with the same member alwaz and maybe theyre the one that carry u there instead.
while solo,all are by themselves,means its truly own skill. and of cos it depends on how good u are in different situation and roles.

In my experience the person can be 4.5 k and selfish as sh*t.Thy don't care what others are doing ty just play their own game farming themselves not giving anything to the team solo pushin while others defend.No teamwork at all!!!and thy go dive fr the kills without their teammates sick of them....

When u go party ranking and u meet solo rank dudes ull go sick.thy dont care....at the end u get 4 carries in the game and thats when u know goodbye mmr!!

I don't mind supporting or semi supporting if my team is capable but the funny thing is thy suck in every position mid and carry and they love doing it.Some of them can go 0/5 0/7 0/9 and still become cocky LOLOL.sick of this type of gaming.

As a person who has solo MMR around 4000 - 4400 and regularly playing with my 2000 - 3500 friends, I can confirm that this happens a lot of the time. But that is not because we are 'selfish' or 'no teamwork' but it is more to different in playstyle. You've got to know that different skill bracket has difference playstyle. For example, in lower bracket, if mid didnt gank by level 6, people will go "f*ck mid no gank pls reportz". In higher skill bracket, mid who constantly gank will always lose their game (most of the time). This is because higher skill player knows how to retreat when they see opponent mid player is missing. Hence, the ganking mid will not get any kills and will be underleveled and underfarmed while the nonganking mid will free farming the midlane and in worst case scenario, he will take down the mid tower. Now, I'm not saying that mid that goes ganking is completely wrong. In fact, getting kills awards more gold than farming or pushing, but it's about risk vs rewards. I agree that in lower level it is better for mid to gank because people at this skill level (mostly) still have bad gamesense and decision making. So, killing lane supports or safelane carry is not that hard (snowballing). But in higher MMR bracket? most of the time its not worth leaving your lane until at least you get your core item (for example orchid on Storm)

So why sometime your 4k friend didnt gank? Its because playstyle and habit. Usually they do what they did at their normal (4k) bracket although they are playing at lower bracket (2k,3k). Another example is diving without teamates. This happens to me a lot of the time. When I play bloodseeker in my solo mmr (4k bracket) and have dazzle on my team, I would not hesitate to dive under enemy tower eventhough im against more than 1 hero. This is because I know the dazzle will protect me from dying. We both know that bloodseeker is OP and has the capability to dive and tank the tower while at the same time, rape whatever beneath the tower espcially with the hlp of dazzle. On the other hand, when playing on party mmr (2k bracket), with same situation, I'm expecting the dazzle will protect me when I'm diving. But instead, he panic and run away when he saw im low hp vs 2 half HP hero. Conclusion? sometime we 4k player expect 2k,3k to think the same like us and when it's not, shit happen.

When you play with someone of higher skill level than you, you have to respect their decision. You have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yeah you might think that they actually made many noob mistakes but they are at their MMR for a reason. They made better decision on most of the time. This is the difference between lower level and higher skill player. It's not about item build, or skill build or KDA. It's the decision making that allow them to achieve thier MMR (with some luck too of course). Higher level skill player usually have different thought process than lower skill player. Now of course, higher skill player do make mistake. Everyone does. But doesnt mean you should put your trust away from them. Usually their mistakes is outweight by their superior decision making.

Oh im not saying 4k is the superior mmr or something. This thing doesnt just apply to 2k,3k VS 4k. This should apply to 4k vs 5k too. or 5k vs 6k and so on. We should constantly learn from each other and espcially from someone better cos that's how you get better .

I agree with nyamuk, although I'm still a 3k scrub, I spend a lot of time watching replays, tourneys, and learned a lot from pro plays. I often play with 1/2k friends in party MMR, and I too often saw as nyamuk mentioned. Charging halfway then chicken out. But now, I pride myself in changing the way they think n play. 😁.

In all seriousness, although you're high in MMR, it doesn't mean you need to play carry role all the time. I always play either supp or offlane when paired with friends. Someone gotta show them how the game works and by supporting, you practically make all the shots, since the carries would be depending on you in the early game

I love playing with serious players and I rarely flame teammates. Unless they did something really stupid and obvious. Like diving into a pack of 5 alone. Then, that deserve a flaming flying fuck to the face.

P/s I'm good at micro-manage heroes. Rate around 3.5 out of 5. (Visage, enigma, enchantress, Chen, beast, meepo, invoker, and all time favorite, lone druid)

I got 4.2k out of 10 games frm rank by solo mid-ing.Even when i lost,i got the highest kills gpm and exp so i dont care what the others are doing i play my own game.Nowadays,those below 4.5k mmr are really sick.

I agree with u.Not everyone is selfish,c'mon i know that but in all the games I play,they are ,You guys are mentioning the 1 percent who are like us(u and u hhahaha).

Not familiar with all heroes but still randomed. Forever farming in jungle but still no items & level. When finally got items also cannot kill (or probably Ancient left with 10% hp). When got ganked, flame others for no reports/wards. Really nothing can be done to save the game.
