agewisdom is it true? that is what i am afraid of. to feel addicted to it .
I'm not 100% sure, but since anti-depressants affect your brain, there's definitely going to be withdrawal symptoms once you stop using them.
Personally, I would only do so as a last resort.
Life is tough at times, religion may help.
Personally, I think helping others, even be it some simple tasks can take your mind of your own problems and you'll realize everyone's facing their own demons too, so you're not as alone as you think.
Just take things one day at a time. Some days you might feel very down, the next day, things will look brighter again. Life is dynamic, there's always good and bad so we just have to deal with it the best we can.

But if you've reached a stage where it's serious, then professional help would be the best. Hopefully you can find one that will try to diagnose the problems instead of medicating via anti-depressants.
