Then, he took my phone and take out the SIM card for inspection.
My SIM card was trimmed from normal sized to micro SIM.
His theory is that the air somehow got into the SIM card and oxidized the chip inside.
Wow, that is the first time I hear this theory.
I don't know, he could be right. I've been using the trimmed SIM card for 2 years without problem.
Anyway, he replicated a new 128K SIM card for me with cost.
The network came up straight away.
So, my case is now mark solved.
