Why so sensitive? heh. Just because people think differently from you guys? To be fair to them, they got reasons cause based on his last two seasons(after his move) in England, he got 10 goals in 2004/05 and 12 goals last season in the league. He was awesome for Marseille, but haven't really scored as much as a main striker should... not saying that he's a bad player or don't contribute, but people will judge strikers based on goals, especially if that guy is the target man/main striker.
Everyone is againts us... helppp |

Whats your point? Sorry.
Ruud was all alone by himself most of the time he was with us. Did it stop him from scoring lots of goals? And Henry can play alone by himself too, got to the CL final with that tactic.. not sure how many goals he would've scored, but with the way Arsenal open teams up, and his pace, he would've got 20 atleast. Rooney played well alone by himself, in his 1st season when all our strikers was out injured. Didn't score that much maybe(don't remember), but he's not a target man/main striker. He's a player who play behind people, a 2nd striker..forward or whatever you call it. Now, I'm not saying he's a bad player, or don't contribute anything else to the team, but his scoring record is a bit average before this season. Can't deny it. Playing for the best team in the league, but score so little. Glad... err I mean, its bad news for the rest of us now that he's scoring lots of goals. He was very very good for Marseille. He was linked with us(along with you I guess) before you bought him and Ruud got linked to RM again, and I was thinking that would be a good move, Ruud out, Drogba in. He was good, got to the UEFA Cup final right? But then again I also wanted Crouch when he was still at Southampton to replace Ruud/Saha. What is it with me and those unpopular players eh? |

Feeling insecure again? Sorry, had to say it.
Nobody said Drogba is not doing well are they? As you can see, lots of people voted for Drogba and lots in this thread said it too. Only one person think Drogba is not good enough, then you came out with the lamers line. At least argue it. Be 'mature'... whatever that means to you. Like I already said above, based on his record in England, it's not that good for a main striker playing for the best team by miles in the league. That's what most people judge him on. And they're not wrong either. Drogba this season is showing a lot more though.. hopefully he won't keep that form for long, 'cause if he does, then everyone will have a hard time chasing you guys Its a forum, not all people think the same. Chelsea right now are the team to beat. You are everyones rival. Of course people won't be sad or feel injustice if you guys got bad decisions againts you. They're all happy when you draw/lose... cause you don't drop points too much over a season. I'm praising your team if you still don't get it. There. And that guy with the one liner, give it a rest... atleast no muppet word this time, not that it hurt me or anything. kehkehkeh ... Sorry if I sound too offensive or something, didn't mean it that way... maybe the countdown to the big game is starting to effect me. This post has been edited by Wan: Nov 19 2006, 11:38 AM |

If SAF played Fletcher regularly, he too would score special goals on a regular basis. That guy is class.
I'm hoping Rooney can continue this run, 7 league goals, and he's not really turn it on just yet. Played well in some games, but a bit crap in front of goal(missed two sitters the other week), or just score 2/3 goals in one game. Weird guy. Missed a lot of chances last season too, Birmingham? and Newcastle games, we were flying that time too, but only score around two goals. Henry if he don't sulk and get injured that much would be up there at the end of the season, 1st or 2nd definitely. Drogba seems to be freed by Shevas arrival. If he play the majority of games and can keep this scoring run on, he'll be up there too. Its hard to play againts him, got it all, strength, pace, got a good shot on him too. A stronger and less pus$y version of Heskey and Saha with a much much better tpuch and finish. I'm praising him again.... gah. If Liverpool got a better team, and Beckham and the old Vicente as their wingers, Crouch would top the charts by far. I'm not kidding. |

Might want to change your avatar. Luffy's wanted value got upgraded in the latest chapter.
Rooney+Saha+Ole(if he's fit enough), top scoring trio. |
