I've bought these kind of keys (Windows 7 Ultimate) twice in the pass.. the first key i used for 1 year then it got blacklisted as being counterfeit. The second key lasted for around 8 months. I tried to contact the seller for a fix on these matters but he neglected to refund nor issue a fix by saying that he no longer sell these keys. Reporting to lelong was futile as well cause the transactions were made pass 3 months. They seems to get the keys from a key-generator of sort. Well... i wouldnt recommend getting it.

Some scammers even tricked buyer into registering for windows insider program and simply provide the generic win10 key.

Common sense will tell us that these are scams. How can a properly licensed copy of Windows 10 be so cheap?

no idea how they get. previously I help my friend buy the windows 8.1 from lelong for RM30 only. activation of windows no problem. lately windows prompting him to upgrade to windows 10. so he proceed upgrade for free and then get the windows 10 pro. so far no issue. future he just reinstall windows without key in the cd-key for windows 10 as now the windows regconize the motherboard serial number / pc macaddress.
but for sure they didn't provide u any sticker. just the cd-key and u download the iso ur self.

I bought Windows 7 Pro key from seller. It is install with no issue, using official Microsoft Window 7 iso file only, no crack. Verify by Microsoft online as genuine. Got the offer to upgrade to Windows 10 but have not do so yet.
Hint : Cheaper using Win 7 key, can update to 10 later.

He has lots of good feedbacks. I'd say just try it. If you manage to activate and MS manages to capture your hardware ID then it should be no problem in the future as it will stay activated based on the hardware ID.

usually it is from msdn. it is a legit key, but u are not permitted or it is illegal to distribute the key to others. since the license is bind to the msdn account owner. so i think it stay within the grey area lol. This post has been edited by Azusa_San: Aug 17 2015, 06:21 PM

From what i know, this type of product key will locked on the your pc/notebook once you activate.
you can reformat and reinstall your OS unlimited times unless there is major hardware changes like new mobo or new hard drive on your machine.

not recommended to get the key only.
if u want save some bucks, get win7 retail not oem version from any store around and upgrade it to win10, then once ms tag your rigs, perform a clean install.
at least u can try u like win10 not, otherwise u can perform a rollback.
