I bought a new Samsung S6 today, but I already hate everything about it apart from the camera.
I much, much prefer my old Note 2.
If I take it back to the shop on Monday can I change it for a different phone? I don't mean another Samsung S6, I mean a different model.
I was under the impression the S6 was waterproof but now it seems it isn't, the GPS cannot be turned off, killing the battery in less than 3 hours. It is useless for me, I haven't even bothered putting my SIM card in it, as my old phone (Note 2) is so much better.
What is the Maxis exchange policy?
And does anyone lnow how to turn the GPS off? I have turned "location" OFF but it is STILL "searching for GPS" and destroying the battery (which is not removable!)
Thanks
UKG

Don't you read the phone spec before buying?

QUOTE(squall8985 @ Aug 16 2015, 03:17 AM) Don't you read the phone spec before buying? No, I stupidly presumed it would be as good or better than the S5. Instead it is a major downgrade and horrible.

I'm using S6 btw and i don't have any problem you mention apart from batter is draining very fast. But that's expected due to the screen technology incorporated into s6.

Thanks UKG Hi, We regret to advised that the exchange policy not available at Maxis. We suggest you to walk in to the Samsung Service Centre for further assistance on the issue you are facing. The GPS or service location should be able to turn off. TQ
