/k recently told my mom stop work, stay with me (my dad hit her and halau her away). and here is the important point, she is addicted to gambling... my dad hit her because of these(gambling). i am currently trying to rehab her, cutting down all gambling....

Thing is i need to give her pocket money just enough for breakfast and lunch (when i am working and not around). For dinner she will go out together with me.

I gave her 20.00 for breakfast and lunch , then today i found out she ask an auntie to help her buy 4d
(She asked someone else buy for her coz i warn her if want to stay with me not to bet even 1 ringgit,otherwise i will disowned her.)

i want to controlled all her finance but at the same times i want her to have good meal and not skipping any. Give 2 little, it isn't enough to eat 2 meal (breakfast and lunch) or have some teeth-bits.

Give too much, she skip meal and ask auntie help her buy 4d , example:- today.

My uncle said it is ok if gamble few ringgit, to be successful we need to take risk and i cant controlled her too much need to leave her some individual space. Which i kinda agree with... but scared she will borrow to bet again if i no control it...

to be honest , when i do my calculation ,i can afford up to 50.00 for her breakfast and lunch. but i already bought her every other necessity + dinner every night + every week got 2 days i will bring her out to walk-walk.(except these week only bring her out 1 day coz she help me clean my house entire day)

So give her too much just for 2 meal ,it doesn't make sense

Btw i might not reply, just want to popcorn and see the poll result so i can judge how much is average meal cost. please help support,

How much do you guys spend only for breakfast and lunch .(just approximation will do) thank you all.

very hard for them to stop, the 4d one you need to let her play lo, few ringgit only ma, plus max also 3times in a week.

for makan wise give her rm20~30 if im in your position. give her makan better + some buffer for her to gamble small small.

because addiction .. yes it work for my uncle. but much better go to addiction centre first.. scolding only make worst. last resort old folk centre la.. even you can afford but... she need friend to talk too. you cannot always 100% beside your mom

or you play reverse...
