I've been using AVF's Gaming Freak mouse, mouse pad, keyboard and headphones for 5 months now, and everything seems pretty good.

The mouse looks nice, it's comfortable to use and the silent click feature is quite nice. The keyboard, despite being a membrane, is still very satisfying to use and looks stunning. The headphones also quite good sound quality and the mic is quite clear. Plus, everything is quite affordable, the whole set was only RM220.

So why don't people talk about this line of products much?

NO

it's not even worth half its retail value

rm30 cliptec or logitech or panasonic phillips etc headphone keyboard mouse etc are just as good if not better

face it, you know you're paying ridiculously less for something that looks 'good' and carries that all shiny 'gaming' decals and brandname, and instantly you're thinking "whoa holy fudge what a bargain"

truth is it's not any better than sub-rm30 products, you're paying twice that just for the stickers and paint and 'gaming' tags lol

tfw even the cheapest logitech sub-rm30 is more durable, reliable and of better quality than the best AVF, RAPOO, ARMAGEDDON above rm100

standard avf 'gaming' headphones is around rm55 right?

if one is so much of a cheapskate but still wants a 'true' bargajn, add rm30 more to that for a superlux hd681 (non evo) and actually 'FEEL' the differences

that being said spend half of that AVF headphone on typical headset from Logitech Panasonic Phillips etc and see if the AVF is actually worth it

I have used a RM39 Logitech mouse before, and it didn't last me 2 months before it just stopped working. It was also not very comfortable to use and it was pretty small. By comparison, my current AVG AGM-X2 had lasted me 5 months, is much more comfortable and quiet, and it looks much better too.

Haha, I actually do own Superlux headphones. Two in fact, the HD681 EVOs and the HD330. The AVF GH2s aren't as good for music listening, but they're more than good enough for gaming and it came with a pretty good built in mic. I used to have a pair of cheap Phillips too, though those were pretty terrible.

Logitech has been my go to mouse for past 4 years. Current G400 I think just got 2 years. I got two pieces, one has a slight loose left mouse button.

For AVF I tried their headphone before, it is lousy to be honest.

if you still don't get it

showing off your AVF peripherals in your siggy is the equivalent to showing off your sub-rm30 each generic branded office peripherals

because that what AVF is, generic products slapped with gaming labels and priced more than twice or triple it's actual value

you spend rm200 for that whole set?

mfw you can get gaming combo logitech g100s kibod+mouse or heck even a cm storm devastator for rm 90-120 and rm80+ for superlux hd681b = total rm200~

What I'm trying to say is that these devices are nowhere near as bad as you make them out to be. You say that they're generic OEM devices, but if this is howOEM devices are then they're not really all that bad.

Thanks. It's not really that, I do think this guy has had some bad experience with AVF in the past, which is why he's trying to advice me against using or endorsing them. He's probably a pretty nice guy at heart.

Other than tht marvo i still using my old logitech wireless mouse which is price tht time around rm70 if not mistaken, mouse combo with keyboard.but seriusly the durability fuhh for me very good yo.already use for 4 yrs still no problem.only sometimes people mistaken the wireless receiver as a thumb drive.lol coz tht model use bigger receiver almost same size like normal size of thumbdrive.even now thumbdrive more smaller than my logitech mouse wireless receiver.lol.

Cos the Logitech G5 I bought 10yrs ago is still working well. sweat.gif

Thought of changing, 10 years looking at the same thing can get boring but it's just a waste replacing something
that's not faulty. Unlike processors that goes faster and faster, I won't get any extra benefits from a newer mouse.

my HM055 headphone still okay but now mainly im using corsair 2100
its been over 4 years of heavy usage after dropped countless times, wire got rolled over with my chair, still nice to hear, no cracked sound. and very surprised me with rm60 pricetag, its works just fine with descend sound.

of course 2100 is the clear winner in all aspect because the dedicated usb driver. more crisp and more bass
sound details are awesome, better fit with my ear with acceptable earcup. just its wireless need to charge lol

and avf was not bad too. with cheap price i got descent sound, clear with acceptable bass, gaming are fun but mic not so lucky after 1 year kaput already laugh.gif
built quality are strong mind you. dropped many times already, on solid tiles thumbup.gif
but it got small earcup to cover

the mouse all button all preset, is it even functioning? cant personalize each button, color all set everything is preset, cant customize.
mouse pad??
keyboard just like mouse, put different color at WASD, BAM!!! gaming keyboard, no macros or ghost key or whatsoever.
headphone loud bass yes, but clarity? none,
i quite like AVF last time, after taste the real 1, then not anymore.
cheap "gaming" product, all about look
at least genius gaming 1, or CM.

Yes, it does function, thanks for asking. Yes, the colors on my mouse are preset.
Yes, a mouse pad.
No, the whole keyboard is backlit. Yes, there are anti-ghosting keys, but there aren't any macros.
Yes, the bass is fairly good. No, the clarity is actually pretty decent.
OK.
Genius and CM, got it. K thanks.
