hi, anyone intro me men's clutch? tqvm
*
Clutch makes man looks like pussy unless they are sporting Audemars on their wrist.

Budget btw? 500 to 5,000 can get diff items.

QUOTE(Ned_Fromthenorth @ Dec 18 2015, 05:57 PM)
do coach still give lifetime warranty? their factory outlet product how?
*
No idea but their product from retail store's quality ain't too bad.

As for factory outlets, coach are dirt cheap in US so it's probably gonna be hit and miss.

Salvatore Ferragamo, Made in Italy.
Slightly more expensive than another brand, when asked, "Made in China but quality is controlled by that respective brand", or so it seems. Asked that cause damn tak puas the wallet koyak so damn fast and not written it's country of make. Showed to the sales people, they just went speechless.
*
I heard of Ferragamo's bespoke shoes and so forth but wallet?

Meh.

He is probably saying Hugo Boss quality is crap..just bought a pair of HB Red sneakers in Utrecht..lel..

But I can vouch for Ferragamo quality. I got 2 loafers and a wallet from them..all lasting very well..
*
Their shoes are definitely okay.

Comfortable, as well.

Hugo Boss shoes? Sorry to say but they're not that good too. I have 2 pairs and one of the shoes' soles were breaking apart at the sides while shoes from other brands didn't have this problem, older too.
*
I was actually referring to the Ferragamo.

I don't touch Hugo Boss since ages already.

Since we are in this topic, I was stuck between 2 choices, LV Taiga Multiple Wallet vs LV Damier Cobalt Multiple Wallet, any recommendations on which one's nice?
*
They looks the same tbh.

I am a fan of Damier Graphite thou.

Cobalt looks so fake at time.

Be warned thou, the bottom part and the side parts are quite prone to damage.

Swap out your wallet once in a while to reduce the stress.

Dear all , just wanna to share this info with you all ,

http://www.doctorshangout.com/forum/topics...wallet-syndrome

so kindly put your wallet at the Front pocket to avoid this "WALLET NEUROPATHY" in the long run
*
I do not recommending sitting on the wallets due to the fact that it will probably cause extra damage to the wallet before it's time is due laugh.gif

QUOTE(Vexation @ May 31 2016, 03:08 PM)
Anyone know where I can get a leather wallet cleaned?

I'm using a Prada Saffiano leather bifold, and it has kinda lost its lustre. I've dropped it a couple times and also carry it in my hand all the time, refusing to put it in my pockets because I don't like putting large things in my pockets.

I know there's a shop at Ikano that does a fantastic job at shoe and bag repair and stain removal. Just not sure if that's the place to go.

Don't want to ruin the saffiano texture now.
*
Send it back to Prada?

QUOTE(fuzzy @ May 31 2016, 03:21 PM)
I got a LV Neo Porte Cartes, it has been a while since I own one (I had their wallet way back when), I'm not particularly used to their leather. Is that anyway I can speed up the loosening process as it is rather bit too stiff for now at the moment?
*
Use it more often? laugh.gif

Give it 2 months, it will feel pretty worn.

Go for something more unique if you are ready to spend 4k. Goyard.

Or a gentleman wallet go for Tom Ford.
*
Urgh. Since when Tom Ford's are in the gentleman business?

I love their perfumes and glasses but wallet? Gonna pass on that.

With 4k, I'd go Hermes.

Thou it's rather pointless to buy a piece of orange leather for my ass to sit on quite frequently.

I'd get multiple wallets to change on daily basis.

Bought my first "atas" wallet - LV Multiple Wallet. Eat grass for few months laugh.gif

And now you are "atas"

Congrats!  Retails price is below rm2k?
*
I think it's around 1,8k here?

600 sgd aint cheap, but if you're flying out, that's VAT to offset so it's pretty okay la blush.gif

As long it's within my budget and I like the design, I don't mind getting it. Now I take care of it like my precious, in my backpack all the time.

Goyard? Not my cup of tea, help my friend bought one. Rm3k for wallet, with additional Rm600 for the initial engraving (or I rather say it painting). My first impression is like wallet from Bangkok IMO laugh.gif
*
Yeap.

I'd go Hermes for that price.

The orange wallet is such a beauty :/

Saw one last time for about 2k but was cheapskate....

Now it's no longer produced, IINM.

Honestly quality for Goyard isn't that amazing, and lately Goyard these days are so damn common lol. With that said I still love my Goyard items, but now thinking of getting something more subtle, like a Moynat for instance.

And soon Lanyard will be famous......

What's cheaper in Paris/London compared to M'sia?

Am tempted to get something from there but I have no idea what to get.

Am wondering if possible to get the old Hermes Orange color man wallet still or not :/

seen a few of its wallets..
doesnt look classy.. go braun buffel and take a look.. the cow logo is easily recognizable in public. just put ur wallet on the table and people know its branded
*
Not really.

It's not as branded as you think.

Most people don't know this brand exist much except for those who goes shopping a lot laugh.gif

I won't say it's anything close to being branded but the quality is indeed decent, if compared to similar price range wallets.

I personally thinl that they are on-par with real branded and expensive brands
*
Real branded and expensive? Define those laugh.gif

I find it okay la. Maybe cause its 300 bucks, I did not take care of it much. But after a while, the long wallet version begin to have tiny "fractures" at the edge where you fold the wallet.

Suffice to say, it's decent enough for daily use for the price you are paying for it.

If you have more money, then you can go and spend more money on other wallets for better design and so forth.

QUOTE(clj @ Jul 22 2016, 10:25 AM)
few years back, i bought a BB wallet and the logo drop off after few months. i went to a boutique and was asked to pay RM50 for repairing. i was a little bit shocked and 1 thing flash in my mind - this brand really "latt yeh" as the brand logo "latt" (sorry, itz in canto)

last year, i was looking for a wallet. i visited few shops (Aigner, MB etc) and asked the same question, how if the logo drop off. every sales person looks shocked for a while and reply me that this is very rare and they never receive such a complaint before. only BB sales person was steady and told me it can be repaired with RM20 or 30 fees.

so, im wondering whether this is very common for BB wallet. any sifu can enlighten me?
*
Can't apply for LV / Hermes / Goyard since they don't even have logo to drop off laugh.gif

As for BB, heard few cases before about the logo. Even in this thread, got 2 or 3 cases reported.

Small matter really. If you keep rubbing the logo with some part of your parts, it definitely will take some beating and eventually be damaged.

Not an expert. Just a hobbyist.

Depending on what and where you're getting it?

Leather Saffiano bifold usually around 1.8k and the longer wallets are usually around 2.4k onward?

I recommend the black plain saffiano....

http://www.prada.com/en/US/e-store/man/wal..._053_F0002.html

Price mostly fixed around 1.8k onwards.

You can get better price if you're in Europe or Other region.
