Can't update/download apps via Unifi WIFI, Stuck at 'Waiting' or extremely slow

to those got slow App update via unify or other wifi change your DNS to Google DNS rather on relying on your router to automatically set for you..
go to: System Preferences -> Network -> Wifi -> Advanced -> DNS tab Inside DNS server column input the Google DNS server: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (refer to pic attached) 
on iPhone click on the ! button beside the wifi you're connecting with and set the DNS there.. separate the address with a comma.. hope this helps.. This post has been edited by kayFX: Oct 1 2015, 01:30 AM |
