QUOTE(jin_akira @ Oct 1 2015, 11:13 PM) the thing is we shouldn't even go through the extra hassle of using a VPN, it should work right of the bat. and it doesn't help that the good VPNs have to be paid, then got quota lah.. and yes, restarting the phone after changing the DNS still does not work. that is why i give DNS solution.. yup you are right that we shouldn't hassle on using VPN but some got temporary fix using the free one.. just chg DNS solution does fix my problem.. but i guess it isn't a universal fix.. QUOTE(Mavik @ Oct 1 2015, 11:20 PM) Download speeds are amazing, I am running out of HDD space (all 8TB are getting filled up) wah apa download all 8TB fill up? Btw I tweeted @TMConnect and this is their response a couple of mins ago QUOTE(jin_akira @ Oct 1 2015, 11:23 PM) are they for real ah? two weeks still the same response?? what the hell have they been doing all this while..?? maybe auto reply bot.. |

QUOTE(Mavik @ Oct 1 2015, 10:36 PM) I see. I had to use a VPN to get normal speeds on my home TIME. Haven't tried VPN on unifi. QUOTE(jin_akira @ Oct 1 2015, 11:06 PM) unfortunately we've been through this process way way back. it's one of the first few things we did to troubleshoot. and yes, it still does not work. you can check the first page to see what we've done to try and fix it. Yeah all of the troubleshoot steps are also not working for me. Hopefully TM stops slacking and fixes the problem soon.so far that's confirmed is Unifi users; no matter what speed and area all are affected. Celcom previously seems to be closely linked to this issue as well, but can't confirm for now since no Celcom users complained yet. no problems with Maxis Fibre and DiGi LTE; it downloaded really quick. we might have to add calling their centre simultaneously while spamming their Twitter, though i still don't have high hopes for that outcome.. |

Mine is inconsistent still. Some days the app update speed is acceptable and some days it drives you nuts.
UniFi VIP10 in Klang Edit: Oh, but I have to say that updating iOS (from version 9.0.1 to 9.0.2, about 60++ MB) was very fast. This post has been edited by attw: Oct 2 2015, 08:14 AM |

So, still not settled yet? Okay, I'm not going back to J.B this weekend. Sorry mum, but my download speeds are more important than driving you to the market.

uhh i need help for those who are familiar with Twitter. i tried logging in just now and a message came out asking for my phone number and it would not proceed to my account until i keyed in my number. so i keyed in my phone number and asked for the verification code but the sms never came, even after a couple of hours. after a while i tried again and now it says this:
QUOTE Due to a technical issue, we couldn't complete this request. Please try again. what do i do? what is stopping me from receiving my verification code via sms? i'm pretty sure i keyed in the right number (1X-XXXXXXX = +601X-XXXXXXX) |

TM called me and confirmed there is some software update required their side with Apple. Now they already updated and the download for App Store resume normal. For my case, I have tried on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. All seem normal now. Hopefully this time they really resolve it.

I'm still out so can other users test it? If more are getting their original speed then no need to harass TM anymore |

i called 100 just, needed to verify something with Unifi. while i was waiting for my call to be transferred, an automated message said that Unifi is experiencing issues with App Store downloads and they are currently investigating it. so yeah issue is still ongoing unfortunately and they've acknowledged it to be from their side..

Back in J.B since yesterday. Sometimes the speed is normal, but sometimes it crawls. Faster than the constant "waiting" I used to get before, but still unacceptable. Also, just like @attw some posts before, I got another call asking to upgrade to Unifi 30, so this time I used the same excuse he did - told them to fix App Store downloads first. Of course the rep didn't have a clue on what I was referring to. Sigh....
