I think it has always been 2 weeks now. Slow App Store updates via Unifi 20mbps @ Sri Petaling

Upgraded to ios9 using iTunes and the download and upgrade process didn't take too long.

Updating iOS apps via iTunes also same, very slow. Could the reason be caused from the malware attack on the apple App Store that was revealed recently? They are doing a spring cleaning for the entire App Store. Their servers running at limited capacity.

UniFi just called me trying to ask me to upgrade my 10MBps speed to 30 - I told the phone operator to fix the App Store downloading issue first and he went like "Huh, apa tu?"

It is confirm TM unifi problem. Earlier it was my iphone restore very slow. I manage to solve it by using VPN. Today I do another download, this time Mac OS Yosemite for mac. Slow as snail, estimated time to take 3 days !

So I use VPN for my Mac, now almost finish downloading 5.72GB after 3 hours.

Not only apple store website. Other websites in Europe also very slow. But TM's reply that it is still investigating after 1.5 months is totally unacceptable. I use my office's internet (both TIME and Maxis broadband) to update the apps, no problem at all - including upgrading to IOS 9 and today 9.01.

Yeah til now still investigating. Just now i resorted to using some random DNS server i Google-d. Managed to update my apps though not at full speed but way faster than Unifi's current speed. The weird thing i noticed after updating to iOS 9 was that when i updated my app just now, it did not grey out and show that pie-chart-timer thing. When i checked the App Store it showed that it's downloading but it did not show up on the app icon itself. So i monitored the App Store update tab and soon as the download finished, it didn't move for a while, then next thing i know the app moved to the recently updated part.

Usually when i update my apps the app would grey out and show the download progress. As soon as the download finishes it would show that it is installing and when it's done installing the app icon will turn back as it was. Now it doesn't show anything at all but apparently the apps are updated. Are you guys facing the same issue or is it not an issue and part of iOS 9? Scared that my apps may have not been updated and got confused or something due to the DNS change i did..

When u guys change to google dns, is it in the router itself, or just in the iOS device? Maybe that's the one making difference which solve some member issues.

Yeah i changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 on my phone and it's still slow. Maybe must change on the router itself.

No difference on my end. Google DNS, OpenDNS, all mixture of both.... no difference whether on phone or router.

Screw unifi incompetency. Just find out which port AppStore is using and trace the network.
Gave up and updated os using maxis hotspot. 9.01 updated in 20 secs.

For most people complaining on this thread, it's not the iOS updates that are slow. Only updates and downloads from the App Store, iTunes and iBooks are suffering. OS updates are still fast.

Thank you. I'll try connecting/disconnecting to see if I can land on that range. Tomorrow must go buy Toto already.

Nope my OS ota update still slow like dunk.something strange happened. Without turning on off router, I just disable and enable wifi on iPad. Then updates become fast again. Really lead me to think iOS wifi issue...same symptom as previous forumer.

App store downloads is still slow, but iOS downloads works fine tho, tried resetting the router that one time and the speed went back to normal, other than that it is still painfully slow.

Its weird that its only affecting App Store downloads.
