yes no doubt CMS funds(both Premier and Islamic) are performing pretty well for the past 1 year. in fact both are top in their respective category.

unit trust not for short term investment, usually medium to long term as in a few years needed for your fund to grow. short term means how long? few months?

but lately market pretty good, so those who invested for a few mths also got quite a handsome return already.

my experience with maybank funds were pretty bad, invested >5yrs, return is lower than FD
