Hi guys,
I am new to this thread. Hope to get some pointes from the old timer here. I started investing in Mutual Funds since 2003 but that was mostly done by my parents on my behalf. only lately have i taken it seriosuly. Mine is mostly in Public Mutual. But I am thinking of diversifying it since, I htink Public mutual is kind aof over-rated and not giving me a satisfactory returns..
I thought of putting into CMS. have anyone heard of it?

yes no doubt CMS funds(both Premier and Islamic) are performing pretty well for the past 1 year. in fact both are top in their respective category.

unit trust not for short term investment, usually medium to long term as in a few years needed for your fund to grow. short term means how long? few months?

but lately market pretty good, so those who invested for a few mths also got quite a handsome return already.

Any idea on the maybank unit trust? Do they good? I check though their web site. But their website very static and not good for analysis.
my experience with maybank funds were pretty bad, invested >5yrs, return is lower than FDPublic Mutual's website is pretty good for you to do analysis,
