The loss i endured in the past two week is more than the cost of switching out into bonds and back in (when equity stabilized)

It looks as though it underperformed cos they start benchmarking even before the fund really started.

Hard to say man. I would say preserve your savings into bond fund, wait for a correction/crash to come in before switching to Equity funds. BUT... She'll not get commission before u switch :-\

That is before we drop from KLCI 1390 level to now. Those who waited were richly rewarded.

Anyone here who's switched their funds to other agents before? I'm thinking of changing agent. Mine can't serve me as well as I'd like to

Try switching to money market. Switching into it costs nothing. But switching back into bonds or equity charges u RM25

It depends on how strong the future correction/recession is. If you invested in late 1996 your funds would have been -3~4% by 1999. Are you comfortable with that?

LOL. Strings attached. Why can't there be genuine good news for once? Other than so and so new funds launching etc.

Well. They followed the benchmark quite well until the last week or so. I think this is because there was a massive money outflow to outer conservative funds thanks to panic switching.
