Actually that place economy mainly due to the port nearby, one of the bigger port in china
So originally those houses built there mostly occupied by workers at the port or plants near the harbour

This serve as a lesson
If see fire, dont care how far is it from you, want to take video also hide first only take

First 12 teams of Firefighter reach at around 1050 pm. That time only catch fire no explosion
And then at 1130 got explosion
1140 they send extra 35 car and 9 team of fire fighter
If timeline like this means the first 12 teams of firefighter got caught pretty close to the chain explosion

So far they report only 2 missing fire fighter at their official page. But you know la the officials like to cover up. Hope really nothing serious

closest condo is 600M away from the centre point of explosion

actually it is quite far from residential area, just that the explosion is huge

1030 catch fire, first batch of 12 cars go to rescue, that time no explosion
explosion happens at 1130pm, so that first batch i think got caught at the middle of explosion already
