Something like a shaver, but it "pulls" instead of shaves, I think.

Btw, regarding the dark spots, I was told it was mostly due to toxins trapped in the lymph nodes. Don't know if it's true though.

to warn u gals... plucking is not good for ur cells... cuz in some case... ur cells around the armpit will be dead...

good news= dead cells means.... no more hair will grow
bad news= ur armpit will sag... i dunno how to spell... u will have old lady sagging armpit.

this apply to eyebrows oso... so dun pluck eye brows...
u will get old faster... cuz the muscles around the eyebrow will no longer be firm....

yeah... the epilator seems good. seems to be fast and efficient. i hate plucking cos it takes time. so sometimes, i just shave. however, shaving causes in-grown hair for me. so, i think plucking is better. so if this epilator have plucking effect and it's fast, it would be great. where can i get it and which brand is better?

right now there seem to be some ambiguities regarding Kalo's effectiveness
i do not wish to promote or refrain ppl from buying the product
however, pls do some research on the product and see if u are willing to take the risk on getting a non effective product
i've checked the clinical trials and found some fishy stuff but as some ppl have actually claimed it works i bought it

the distributer in malaysia is
Sanmaki Enterprise
S-091, 2nd Flr, Sungei Wang Plaza, Jalan Sultan Ismail
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
50250

if anyone here are tired of shaving or plucking...do try to use epilator..its looks sumething like an electric shaver...just that it doesnt shave but pluck instead...you can get that in most of the big chain electrical store which sells shaver.. or jusco electrical department (mostly it's displayed inside the glass showcase)

well, i personally made a survey...there are basically 2 sizes of epilator....1 for shaving legs, armpit, bikini line, and another which is smaller in size...which is for armpit hair, and bikini line.

the price range for philips and panasonic, for the bigger epilator is around rm140-160. and the smaller cost ard rm 80-90. the Braun cost more...but i cant remember the price.

i personally wanted to get 1..my friend had recommended me the panasonic...she said that it really works and is able to pluck your hair effectively and fast.

p/s: it hurts very much in the first few times you start using it...because it plucks your hair...however, you will get used to the pain doing it few times tongue.gif

here are some link which might help rclxms.gif
philips elipator 1
philips epilator 2 (bigger type)
panasonic epilator

ADVANTAGES:
Skin stays hair free for 4 weeks. Hair grows back fine and soft. Can catch hair as short as 0.5mm.

DISADVANTAGES:
Epilation can be uncomfortable at first. Some women may experience skin irritation. In some case ingrown hair can occur.

this is from Braun websitebraun website

i am very interested with this. for those who hv tried it.. is there any risk? other than ingrown hair occurence?

Hi All ..

I'm new here ...

I normally shave when I'm lazy ... and sometimes I use a traditional method i.e. plucking

In my opinion, using Epilator is the best, as it pluck the hair from root. I just bought Braun Silk & Soft LS5160 - Using battery (cost about RM199). have not use it yet. will try out today.

Still reading the manual for the usage. Using Threading is not bad either. pls let me know the where I can get the service, bangsar which part? any recomendations.

Read about epilators but have yet to try. I used to pluck but got lazy after a while.
The main thing is to remove the root to avoid any ingrown hair.
