Implanon is available at LPPKN. Subsidised. 3 yrs pregnancy free, no pills needed.

I think need to be married to get it done at LPPKN/KK for it to be subsidised.. but private clinic can do it for singles, just not subsidised.

If an implant under your skin is not your thing, another good alternative is Mirena (about 3-5yrs) or copper IUD.

Mirena helps with pain/bleeding etc..no systemic hormonal effect. But way more expensive.

Nurses in KK often prefer copper IUD than Implanon (cheap, can take out easily).

Yes menstrual cramps and bleeding. Very light periods afterwards because the mechanism is to thin out the endometrium. Not because you're going into menopause or something

Implanon works via systemic circulation (spread hormones from your arms to your body, and hits your reproductive organs), but Mirena works by local release of hormone. But do get your gynae's advice. Not some stranger on the Internet
