Is this the 1.6L T found on the 508?

This engine carries 8 mods addressing reliability issues on Prince engines. This version was 1st introduced on 408thp in 2012. Due it's reliability, all PSA 1.6thp petrol models (308/3008/408/508/5008 & Citroens ) were fitted with this engine from 2014.

New Pugs & Citroens have a further refined Prince.

Plan to buy a post 2014 Pegeot 5008 as I need an MPV to ferry more people now including my wife, kids and parents. So 5 seater not enough during weekends.
Looking at the 5008 as this seems to be very well priced and have good kit.
I have 2 sedans right now - one fully paid off and another will be paid of in August 2023, both cars are 9 and 10 years old but are well maintained and running good. So it will not be my only car but hopefully its reliable.

For the 5008 I hope that most of the previous issues have been resolved with improved parts. Is it safe to buy a 2014 Peugeot 5008? I am ok with general maintenance and wear & tear parts replacements, but only concerned about unresolved issues where I need to keep changing the same parts over and over again due to design issue. Appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
