The good of Himedia box is the metal casing, the casing itself is the heat sink, you can run 24 hours continuously without problem. In the past few years, never have any customers encounter any issue after hours of watching. In the past ome seller trying to sell the USB fans together with the box which cause a lot of confusing in the market, to me this is not necessary.

Thanks for clarifying. I actually have Q5 II but these few days auto shutdown. I was thinking it may be heat issue. but anyway im going to get a new model also as the model is quite old and insufficient space also. I will pm you when im ready to get a new model.

I personally tested Q5II for 24hours few years ago, I'm very sure not heat issue with Q5II.First reformat your Q5II to isolate if hardware or software issue. It is important to get post sales support, when you have such issue you know what to do. Android is software driven device which you could recovered by reformat the OS first.

Thanks for the advice. I'm planning to get a new model also.
