Hi guys, I'm going to be traveling quite a bit this year and would need a laptop that's portable and sufficient enough to browse, play movies/music, edit photos, play simple games and microsoft office use. I've searched around and narrowed down my choices to the following three:

1. Lenovo Yoga 500 aka Flex 3 (couldn't find much reviews on this)
2. Dell Vostro 5480 (this seems to have pretty bad wifi issues?)
3. Asus TP300LA (this has the smallest screen size)

I'm looking for around 13"-14" screen size with i5 processor. Can someone suggest which of the 3 is better?

Thanks in advance! =)

I would avoid Asus, have very bad experience with their customer service before over some battery issues.

Core M might a little bit slow than i5, but the ssd is multiple times faster compared to standard hdd.

Up unitl today, there hasn't been a perfect Notebook nor desktop in everyway.
It's either one thing or another that gives problem eventually & that would be the lesson.
Pragmatically nowadays, these are my major issues in ascending order, when buying:

1. Affordability price range (Hardware & CPU: don't over buy nor under buy what you need)
2. Screen Size (you would be looking at the screen most of the time)
3. OS (Is that what you want? Avoid OS upgrade & downgrade - troublesome)
4. Service Centres (Fast repairs? Nearby your office/home?)
5. Spare parts availability (Some will tell you: no spart parts after 5 years!)

Other issues are no longer major nowadays e.g.
battery life (now everywhere can charge, just like everyone can fly too)
reliability (Usually OK for first 5 years, if very unlucky, then problems before the 5 years)
weight (all feather weight now)
Wifi (Usually not much problem' just get closer to wifi antenna)

Hope this helps & always buy original & from authorised shops,
as I learnt a bitter lesson i.e. found the shop closed after less than 1 years.
In conclusion; always rememeber - there are no 'cheap & good' things around here!
