Most important thing you have to remember. Do not create any hostile environment with your current company/boss. You'll never know when you need them in future

Make sure to touch on: - tell him the whole truth that you got a better offer - you enjoyed working in this company, but times are hard and the other job is offering a higher pay - make sure you thank your boss for letting you join his/her company in the first place - shake hands (this might not seem important, but it relates to courtesy and a gesture of 'no hard feelings' or 'no offense intended to you')

I have same situation with you, maybe worst....i also going to resign after working for 3 months, but the situation is when last time my boss interview me, he mentioned that he want to hire someone who will work together with the company for years because it's time consuming to hire and train another new ppl, somemore all their project are very urgent, if the employee simply left, it will burden other ppl's work. So, that time he want me to promise him i will work at least one year at this company (although without black and white)......Therefore, i promised him..... But now, i get a better job and better offer, i hope to leave.......... What can i do now? will my boss very angry if i resign ? should i tell him directly i get a new offer? pls advice.....

Ask him to do like japan, offer super duper high salary to employee. I am sure u wont quit if he offer you 2-3 x higher salary compare to other companies and better working environment, if he cant, ask him to stop bu115h1+, all companies dont like to train fresh, but if they cant offer higher salary, what can they do ? Tell them to stay or I will be angry ? Or if u quit, i wont hire anymore ? Or If u quit i dont befriend you ? Thats nothing you can do if u cant offer, its very realistic. Btw unless there are contracts, which offer at higher rate of salary to keep some1, else u may leave as you want.

Your situation seem difficult as you have promise him. If you don't mind how he think about you then leave, else stay.
