Liverpool don't have a good winger to provide cross to benteke. Ibe is still young, coutinho, firmino like to cut inside and pass the ball instead of crossing.
Its a mistake sending markovic on loan.

Spent more than 200 mil then said no winger to provide crosses...

If it is in an ordinary working field, a manager tell the boss like that, surely being grilled and long be fired already.

Have all the money to support to recruit new players, but ended with a striker who is the best header of the ball, and no winger to cross in to supply aerial ball to the striker?

Just like buying Ferrari but forget to buy the wheel.

Rodgers doesn't believe in traditional out n out winger. He thinks a the modern footballer is and must be multitask. Jack of all trades, can defend, attack, provide crosses etc. I think he (Rodgers) got caught in the naivety of that thought.

Sure every footballer must have the basics of doing every aspects of the football formation but every players was its own usp, his asset that sets him apart. Hone it, sharpen that, play him in the position that best exploit his gift. But no. Not in Rodgers brand of football. Instead of a having the player doing incredible damage with his speedy speed, Rodgers play him as lone striker. When a midfielder does better damage going fwd, Rodgers makes him sit n protect the back 4.

Luckily he hasn't sent mignolet as striker (yet)

No buying a cheap car and say there is potential an character, and will be faster and desirable than an actual ferratic
(Next thing, the car is loaned out for mileage because it can fit the formation)

Our TMJ said this to FAM

Pablo Aimar once told me, "There's no point of having a ferrari with a driver who only knows how to drive a van"

(For those who don't know who the hell is pablo aimir, go whack your head, and notice he too uses the reference of ferrari like the manager who helmed the team when they were successful)

We (LFC) can always change (for managers fancy) lampshades and chairs but if he fooking uses them in anyway that they are purposely built for is fooking useless.

And we have LFC fans that is saying Brendan Rodgers 2nd season Liverpool is the best football squad playing, I beg to differ.

Seeing this always bring a sad tear
(steven gerrard posted this on his own Instagram yesterday - Reina, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Carragher, Aurelio, Alonso, Mascherano, Kuyt, Gerrard, Babel and Torres - alongside the caption: โ€œSpine ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’ชโ€
Attached Image

And we had to dismantle because the management and some fans believe he (Rafa) wasn't doing enough, limiting him to just peanuts than real budget. He had to sell players (which he did quite well given the circumstances) to finance further buys

And yet, Rodgers is lavished with $$$ total budget that should have the very least clinch a champion league spot easily. Let's not even begin to pressure him with A trophy before, because we are told to judge him after 3years

This season, BR better deliver.

Just got to say that BR reputation among the fans had gone down the drain. Looking over the FB fans page, be it international or Malaysian one, previously there are still 50% support BR. But now it seems that the fans had enough of BR. laugh.gif

Almost every topic there will be people link it with replacing BR, replacing Lovren, and etc.. laugh.gif

The best squad in EPL history for Liv was during Rafa years, whereby Anfield was a fortress, and a team to fear in CL, instead a minnow.
I think no one will dispute it.

Not to discredit entirely the achievement done on BR second season that Liv finished 2nd. But the achievement has a lot to do with Suarez factor as well or SAS combo, that bailed out the team every single time when the team conceding or trailing.

Also, Rafa highest league point tally was 86, BR second year that finished 2nd was 84.

Rafa stat at Anfield
loss
2008/09 0
2007/08 1
2006/07 1
2005/06 1
2004/05 3

Stat won't lie, which team was the best.
