i have a 2 month old daughter and her crying at night is inconsistent. so yeah i would assume it is either hungry, need a diaper changer or uncomfortable - wind, bored, too tired etc.

but more interested in the self sleep. now, wife and i would need to carry and rock our baby to sleep. when we put her in her cot, its a 50-50 chance of waking up. before we wanted to let her be and cry to sleep. but our doc suggests not to practice this as baby can suffocate if they cry too long.

so, hmm. my question is how best do we train our baby to self sleep?
