did you offer him pacifier?

Having a dilemma here, as my 2 month old baby boy has been crying every night. Not sure what he want. We fed him, and make sure no more wind in his stomach; change his dyper; clean him; change his cloth; play lullaby song; adjust the room temperature (not too hot / cold). We even carry him and soothe him to sleep every night, but he just keeps crying non-stop and we are clueless what he actually wants. Sometimes he even screams, and now he kind of loses his voice abit. 

Have any parents experience this before? And how long will he continue to be like this? Many say is normal for the first 3 months, and he will eventually cry lesser when he grow older.
