Recommended setting for NDVR012 :

1). Resolution - set to highest resolution to have best video quality.
Attached Image

2). Loop recording - the video clip will be deleted base on first in first out basis. In the case of SD card full, the oldest video clip will be deleted. It is recommend to choose 3 minutes such that every video clip will be 3 minutes. 1 min will generate too many video clips, total 60 clips per hours. 10mins video clip will cause the video file size too big about 1GB per clip.

3). WDR(Wide Dynamic Range) - improves the video quality when light intensity is widely different.

4). Exposure - remain default value as below.

5). Motion Detection - set the motion to Off because vehicle is always moving when you driving, motion detect might cause you miss some scene when your vehicle pause at traffic light.

6). Record Audio - record audio inside your car, turn on or off base on your preference.

7). Gsensor - detect impact and protect the video clip from overwritten by loop recording. Gsensor prevent video clip being overwritten after accident. Activate Gsensor require you to regularly maintain the memory and manually remove the protected video clips. Set the Gsensor to high to reduce the maintenance effort.

P/S : If you do not want the effort to maintain the video clips, it is advisable to switch off the Gsensor.

Yes, all the models has sufficient long cable to hide. Only this model has the USB port on the mounting holder which help to organize the cable.

Hi,

Notice this is slightly different from the rest of the model you're selling on the warranty part. This doesn't come with 1 year warranty?

The power input is USB port on the dashcam, you can use any USB power source such as battery bank. The package do not included long USB cable, you need to ready "power only" USB cable if you connect none cigarette power source.
