Hello,
I noticed from my Update History that Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro had failed several times, almost daily. The below is the somewhat detailed error shown:

I clicked on the links provided, but they are not showing me any much of information nor help. My main question is, is this error code 80240020 harmful? Is there something wrong with my upgrade, or I just need to wait further longer for my turn to upgrade?

Please help. Much appreciated.

Saw this from your link: If you’re on an Enterprise edition, the media creation tool won’t work for an upgrade. Please see the Volume Licensing Service Center for more information.

Mine is Windows 7 Enterprise. Sigh, looks like I won't be able to upgrade then. sad.gif

I hope this work for anyone that still find a problem with their update to windows 10, it still worth it to try.

Download Windows update troubleshooter:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows...-troubleshooter

Let it check and repair if anything is wrong with your windows update, and be patience in 1 or 2 days you will get the notification to download it.

Or you can just leave it be, but if you still not successfully getting the windows 10, then it better to give it a try

Thanks - downloaded the troubleshooter and ran it. Hopefully my upgrade will start in a day or two. *crossing my fingers*

You can 'force' it to update.
Download the win10 ISO and extract to desktop, and click setup.exe. or burn the ISO to dvd and upgrade from within your win7.
