Hi, some universities DO have spring intakes, after winter break, which is usually around january/end december. And not all decisions are by may 1st. some people use the Early Decision/Early Action program if they're sure of what school they want to go to, and you get to know whether u got in abit more early, but you can only use this for ONE school, and if you're accepted, you absolutely have to go there.
