hi guys, i've been smoking for about 10 years and finally decided to switch to vaping after the recent news by the uk health officials that vaping is much better health-wise. tried to stop smoking lots of times over the years but still end up going back after 1-2 weeks of trying to quit. i did a lot of reading about which gear to get and which shops are decent + reputable, and i got myself an iPV Mini 2 + Subtank Mini in the end! hopefully this will get me to stop smoking after all these years...old liao, cannot simply anyhow play play! met some nice vapers at the store i went to and they told me about this forums where a lot of local vapers hang out so decided to join the sifus here. so hi everyone and i apologise in advance if i ask a lot of stupid questions in the future

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 6 2015, 06:43 PM) Really? I have the Temco kanthal, not the re-branded vapowire, right in my Magma sitting tight since mid-August. Albeit this is my 'premium juice RDA' but still, solid delivery. Now I'm hunting for Ti wires because hey, why not? Welcome to the Klan. Congratz on making the leap of faith but just a heads up, you may or may not experience coughing for the first few days in the start point. It's a normal 'New Vapor syndrome' as we called it. Just hang through that and you'll be peachy. Start with the smallest air hole just to get that "drag" sensation. Should keep your mind of the cancer stick at least thanks for the welcome! at first was a bit scared to post because most forums don't seem to like noobies coming in and being idiots but good to see that there's a lot of nice people here haha i did experience the coughing fit on my first drag but after a few hours, i'm all good now! looks like there's a lot of sifus here and hopefully i can learn a lot from everyone... it's been 3 days since i started vaping and so far, no ciggies for me. i did experience the craving but only during my morning coffee. vaping doesn't seem to give the same satisfaction and "kick" when i'm chugging my morning brew. so many awesome e-liquids around and i'm getting the urge to buy them all!

hi everyone,
i have a noob question about the settings for the ipv mini + subtank mini. i am currently vaping at 18watts on the stock subtank mini coil and i was just wondering if 18watts is good for flavour. i was researching on the settings and noticed some people saying that 25watts is better for bringing out the flavours of the e-juices. could any sifus shed any light on this?

QUOTE(maudermunty @ Sep 7 2015, 02:58 PM) Depend on your build juga. If stock coil theres two, 1 is 1.2 ohem, 1 is 0.5 ohem (for Subtank V2 la). If 1.2, then 25W would be quite high. But, it all depends on your preference, the juice u r using and taste bud. Some find 21.5W brigs out the most flavor. Some 13W already syiok. QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 7 2015, 02:59 PM) Some people like ah mois, some people like aweks. Just find what suits you and stick with it. Don't be afraid to experiment once in a while. You might be surprised with what you can do thanks a lot guys! i was a bit worried that the mod might go wonky if i play with the settings too much. just discovered an amazing juice so i was hoping to find the best way to properly savour this yummy juice - charlie noble's admiral reserve: good cookie. tastes just like a homemade chocolate chip cookie and isn't too sweet

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 7 2015, 03:09 PM) After Ben Johnson Cr3am, Oreo cookies, I'm very skeptical about chocolate cookies juices. Gunk-builder 2000 that one. The Peach Tea was nice tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ how well does the tea flavour stand out? i tried an iced tea juice which was supposed to be an earl grey tea flavoured juice and it was...interesting to say the least. charlie noble's cookie doesn't seem that viscous to me but i'm still new heh... very pleasant chocolate cookie flavour IMO

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 7 2015, 03:33 PM) Very floral at first, like that first gulp of a cold ice tea on a hot day and then it mellows out into the background for the peaches to come up. Refreshing at the least. Well Cr3eam is very sweet and it's pitch black from the colouring so it's not really a surprise to destroy my coil after 3 days wow sounds like a heavenly juice! added that to my list of juices to try hehe. speaking of the colouring, i noticed that most of the imported juices are a clear/translucent colour while there's some startingly radiant coloured local juices like neon blue, neon purple etc. are those mainly from the food colouring?

QUOTE(nekkidgramma @ Sep 7 2015, 08:17 PM) Now hold yer horses there partner. Taste is subjective, as I always told in this thread. I personally love tea over coffee so that's must be why it clicks with me. Can't say the same for others. Just pennies for thought there Damn but won't local seller hunt him down for slashing the price that much? Just wondering and huwee they got the Uwell Crown as well. Mine from FT haven't arrive yet... So so tempted to get from them. Same price as FT too hee fair enough! one man's meat is another's poison, as they say. so far i'm loving all the new flavours i've been trying but have yet to find a sufficiently flavourful tea juice. no harm in testing it out when i'm at the store to restock and i'm always on the look out for recommendations and advice by people who know more than me
