Maybe it's just me but it only happen with local juice. Myb the nicotine level has something to do with it.

I have been building spaced coils. I'll try to do a cotton burn test and observe.

Bro..when u say to see TC works as it suppose to means what? I see that my cotton turned darker and darker. It supposed to turn black right because of the heat from the coil?

Edit: i tried dry burn. Cotton turned dark.

No smoke. Only turn black but can smell the burn.

I started with 365F at 18J. It got burned pretty bad. When changing cotton..the burned cotton already split in half..lol..

Next round after my coil cooled down i hit it with 285F..cotton turned dark also but not as bad as the first one.

Im using ipv3li. 😢

Found out why my nickel burned out so fast.
Due to my style of vaping. I chain vape a lot.

Im guessing since if i vape at high temperature, the juice vaporize fast and the cotton wont be wet enough for the next draw. 4 to 5 puffs staright will surely blacken my cotton and burn my nickel.

Tried. But y my cotton turn yellowish so fast. At 380F in 3 seconds so yellowish.

Coil already spaced.

Im using 3.5mm.

Let me try if i can get 2.5mm working.

Getting 0.096. 6 wraps ni200 28g.

Tested at 400F for 3 seconds..a bit yellowish but acceptable.

I'll try this for a day and see how it goes. Else I'll blame it on my clouchaser honeydew juice. Lol.

After following Vail advise..my coil seems better. Cotton is a bit yellowish but no more gunky.

Resistance at 0.09ohm 420F. Firing at 23J. So far so good.

Gotta ask u since u are using ipv3li as well, how tight do u screw ur tank to the mod?

Compared to ipv4, a light twist and u can feel that the tank is tight enough to the mod.
