Importing goods valued >RM500 is taxable
Kena tahan or not depends on luck.
Some logistic friends say goods are more likely to kena tahan if package is big or heavy.

Item above RM 500, usually they'll look at the declaration form, if the declared item is not taxable, normally they will release it. But usually will pick any random parcel that on that list for taxing purpose (that why a 50/50 chances). And they usually targeted a big parcel LoL.

My friend working at dhl sorting centre, he handle lots of vaping product recently, mod, battery & liquid. Mod & battery usually will pass the checking. Liquid on the other hand is 50/50, because that need an approval from KKM because of the nicotine contains.

I bought liquid from US before, and the seller declare it as Essential Oil, Non Flammable Liquid. The item pass through custom without opening my box. .
