Im a newbie magician . I've been interested in magic since last year.

Does any one knows how to perform the " Spike Trick " ? where u put a nail under a cup . move the 3 cups around ,mix them together then smash your hands on the cup . Magically , You dont get holes in your hand because the cups u smashes dont have the nail in it. the nail is on the last cup you didnt smash.

Oh... russian roulette .... i wonder how they are able to do it..... a luck factor trick?

i think there is many versions of this Russian roulette .

because sometimes when i watch them do it . I Know that the nail is there but when he smashes his hand on it , it goes to the other cup. and i think some of them uses something to make them KNOW that the metal piercing object is there like a magnet. I wonder how strong the magnet is... maybe the knife is also magnetized so when he puts the magnet on it he can feel the push back or the pull of the magnet.

but then i don't really know.. how some people can actually mess up a gimmick trick that can cost a hole in your hand...

Well.. it could be like what Blue said... hypnosis like derren brown which needs concentration and speech skills . hmm . then its impossible for someone normal like me to perform the trick fantastically XD.

I wanna learn teach mee~ lol . Is it actually quite hard to perform? Since there are screw ups done by some magicians.

Try learning tenkai palm lolz. it just takes like 20 min practice to get it right and then u gotta learn blind angle spots . practicing at the mirror or recording what u do on video works well.
Or u can do the "This,That and Other" trick can be found on youtube.
and Yea the 2 card monte works great too lol .
Hmm card tricks that doesnt need skills ...
how about the trick where u tell your audience to take a card from the deck and then ask them to remember it , put it back into deck and then tell him to visualize the card flips over. When i look for your card in the deck the card that he choose is flipped over.

ah please teach me the secrets of russian roulette >.<

Need tips on doing the classic pass
isit carrying the bottom pinky slipped half to the "TOP" or from " Bottom To Top" . Or isit like doing the single hand cut but this time using a hand to block the audiencce from seeing it ?
How different isit from invisible pass ? been very blur this few days doing this trick . i think im not doing it right.

how to push the card nicely ? and the force applied ... to hold the cards... not sure how much
and when i turn the deck... isit have to control up and down the pressure i put on the cards with the thumb?

Been doing quite many times lately the invi pass and still trying hard on the classic pass which i think* my hands are a bit too small but i think it doesnt makes alot of difference in the trick.. doing it still incredibly slow ... and dropping lotz of cards lol .
Is this actually easier than tenkai palm ? trying incredibly hard to keep steady hands on the cards when i pass it ,so it doesnt falls on the ground.lol
