beginner here...where should i start? why is magic trick must use bicycle deck?

not necessarily true.

I find the rummy king 001s handle just nice for cuts and sleights.

The only problem is that they don't last. But for Rm1.20 per deck, this is something you can afford to waste.

depends on what you use them for i suppose.

EDIT: you can still fan with the rummys, probably just not as good as the tallys/bikes.

^ u sure 7-11 got?
bicycle card quite ex la..
my friend say must learn with noob card , then when master those skill use pro card ,the performance will be more nice smile.gif
*
that's not entirely correct.

local cards are usually too thin and bendy and it makes handling certain sleights somewhat easier. You should try heavier cards such as the USPCC Aladdin 1001s that have a thicker stock. These cards are harder to handle and thus making the transition to these cards to thinner cards a breeze.

izit located around the stationary section or every 7-11 different ?

depends on which 7-eleven i think.

Go with the rummys, they are hard to beat when local decks are concerned.

hmmm, tmr i try go and see again  tongue.gif

btw one hand cut is kinda weird.
they use first finger to push the card and make it like a T form, but i use middle finger to push  sad.gif
*
really? which one handed cut?

Even for triple charliers or revolution, heck even the erdnase one handed shift, I don't recall using middle finger to push anything. Pulling action yeah if we're considering thumbcuts aka brian tudor bruteforce one handed style.

you mean a charlier?

Some tips: In the end it's all gravity.

The knack with one handed cuts is knowing how to let your cards fall naturally, being supported by gravity and your fingers loosely.

Just let the cards straddle slightly upwards so it falls on your pinky, it should then be very easy to push the bottom pack with your first finger.
