This question is intended for card performers.

What will you do when you need to perform a slight of hand BUT your spectator demands on shuffling your cards?

i never perform silk close-up.. performed silk on stage twice..
erm, actually, reaction got from kids and adults are different.. sometimes kids will just figure out how you do it but adults don't.. maybe because I'm still bad

Lol I got a friend(heckler), he's a *******.
Just that when I almost pulled a trick off nicely done he took my palm and saw the palm card. WTF >"<

Stage Magic - For kiddo.
How long the duration?

When they ask to shuffle, let them shuffle lor.
Why not?

Classic Force the card.
Crimp the card.
Force Deck.
Whatever kind of force.
Find a way to know the card.

Then let them shuffle all they want to lor.


Children are more direct in thinking.
For eg. a normal DL trick.
Adult will go all over the world to think how it was done.
But, a child might just figure it out on the spot.
We are complicated people.
Children are more direct and simple.
Which sadly most methods behind magic is so simple.

I always have kids figure out my dl trick rather than educated adults
Adults then to complicate the trick because they will not believe in simple way, and sometimes, most magician like to use the difficult way.
Keep it simple, and it hits hard

seldom jam with magician.. but what we do during jamming. er, flourish, chatting, eating, drinking... quite bored right? anyway, in KL, the jamming session i'm sure is more interesting. they take vid, jokes....
