QUOTE(silbii @ Aug 17 2015, 12:47 PM) im using Maxis One but so expensive rm128, 2GB only but unlimited calls everywhere. But nowadays with whatsapp and all...so rarely talk over phone right? So i think i'm paying too much for Maxis lah I find that Maxis 4G LTE is quite ok...but very interested to change to U Mobile. Reading here, U Mobile LTE is getting better but is the LTE be at least on par with Maxis? Appreciate some / more thoughts on this. thx in my experience, Maxis's LTE is better than the others in terms of speed and coverage. U Mobile only have agreement with Maxis for 2g(throughout Malaysia) and 3g(for places without U Mobile 3g signal). You should buy a power prepaid sim(basically prepaid sim), reload 10 to get 1gb free data and see if its 4g speed suits your taste

QUOTE(Emimarson @ Aug 8 2015, 10:32 PM) KL area so far so good, no LTE, but 3G not bad. Misleading comment. U mobile does have LTE network but coverage quite limited. You will need to enable LTE before riding on their LTE network

Thx for the comments but might stick to M for now, since I've been told that we need to pay rm300 deposit for U roaming, and U roaming service overseas is not very comprehensive yet (but still expanding as we speak).
I just wish M will have more offers to make it a bit cheaper.

Umobile started slowing down abt 2 mths ago. Since Aug it is nearly unusable between 10am-1pm and 8:30pm-12am. I've complained to Umobile, they called back to say that they are upgrading their system and speed will be better in 3-4 months time. I will cancel my account after this month and try a Hotlink prepaid account.
I'm a postpaid customer in the Old Klang Road area, using the Umobile ZTE MF65 mifi. If you really want to subscribe to Umobile try out their prepaid for a week first.
